New graphics for the new Web site
Here are the new graphics for my new wiki- http://dogart.wikispaces.com
In case you hadn't heard, I attended a tech conference for teachers this week. They recommend that teachers use wiki-pages for their classes. So, I thought I'd better at least try to learn how to do it, whether I end up using it for school or not. Please look around and be sure to come back again later, as it's obviously still under construction for now.
They also suggested Twitter. Now, I don't want to be a twit, and I'm still not sure how much I'll tweet, but if you want to follow me or want me to follow you, this is me there- "@tedmallory" or http://twitter.com/tedmallory, I'm still not really clear on how it works.

Exciting new design
I've already got next year's tee shirt designed. Part of me is hoping this will make more people want to come out for football cheer. Another part of me is hoping that alumni and non-cheerleaders, and maybe even parents will like these enough to buy some and help make money for us. Like it? Let me know your size and if you want me to plan on ordering one for you. I'll take orders officially next August.
From the 2 or 3 comments I've gotten on facebook, it seems to be going over pretty well!

Participant in political process
The official website of my congressional district is using a graphic I designed for them. I may not be writing about politics in a regional weekly newspaper anymore, but that doesn't mean I can't contribute. http://www.idp5.org

Buttons

Apparently Yahoo discontinued their geocities web hosting service and when they did- lots of my graphics went with it. So... I pretty much need to rebuild all my blogs and store these graphics somewhere new. May as well be here at blogger anyway. Please excuse my mess as I remodel!

Pro Bono Work
Here's two projects for New Year's Day. A card for placing Bible verses on for the LWML at our church, and a button for "Cub's Week" at Lake Okaboji Lutheran Summer Camp.

Yearbook cover

This was a fun project. Students wanted a TV theme and grabbed onto USA Network's "characters welcome." The TV will be cut out to reveal the endsheets, which will feature a montage of photos of Boyer Valley students.

Photoshop Phlower
This is a byproduct of working on a company logo design for a psychology practice in Colorado. I love how it turned out so well, I had to share it with a broader audience.

Graphic Design

Here's the new banner for my prayer blog, inspired by summer blockbuster movies. I think it's pretty fun. They don't let me design stuff for Vacation Bible School because I'd make it too scary!

New graphic
So here is my beautiful new logo for my freelancing designer/photographer/cartoonist business (which hasn't really made me much money yet, but what the heck)!I've had several people try to encourage me to offer to do Senior Portraits this summer. I realize that it's not the best business model to just post all my cartoons here on a blog and only get paid by one small town newspaper, but I' ll get my butt in gear here and try to send some cover letters and stacks of examples out eventually. School is busy, life is busy, there's still a mountain of neurosis's to overcome...
Need a tee-shirt designed for you? I can do that too.
And below is another not-for-profit job I did, a portrait as a gift for one of my students.

Eye carumba!
One of my painting students caught me trying to take a picture of my own eye and asked me to take a picture of hers. Naturally, I experimented on them in Photoshop! I think these images turned out great. She seems to have a quintessential iconic eye!
