A poem my Dad once taught me

I went to the dam
to see the dam man
about some dam water

I asked the dam man,
"can I have some dam water?"

The dam man said,
"no you can't have the dam water."

So I said to the dam man,
"keep your damn water."

"Damn right I'll keep my dam water,"
said the dam man.
