I found a couple of really dilapidated photos of my goddaughter from 98 or so. They were darkroom prints that weren't developed right, so they faded fast and had some chemical marks. A little Photoshop fun and no, they're not good as new, but they are funky and artsy-fartsy!
Here's my Munch style painting. I guess I could've made it more sinister by making it darker ot making her a vampire or a temptress or something, but I wanted to make it school-appropriate since I'm the teacher, I think that would be going over-board and kind of trite, and I used a photo of my artist goddaughter and I already enlarged her head and changed her eyes from brown to pale blue so I just couldn't bring myself to make her too much more weird.
