Here are tulips. My favorite Spring flower. I like the repetition of the shapes in this second one (the pink one) .

No harm was meant and not monitary profit was taken- so please cut Ted some slack and don't sue him. He doesn't have any money anyway.
I'd love for some syndicate to pick me up one of these days, but then, so do a gazillion other amateur bloggers. So if you happen to be an editor, publisher, syndicate executive or literary agent and you'd like to hire me or publish some of my work- by all means, PLEASE feel free to contact me. While I'm happy at my job, who wouldn't love to make their living by dooing their hobby?

I like the subtler shape repitition of the top one, personally. The more obvious repition in the bottom one seems pretty Tim Burton to me. I do like Tim Burton, but I think the release of a Burton-esque flower shot could wait until after a POPULAR movie release, not Corpse Bride, to engage as much Burton popularity as possible. Like it or not, subconscious connotations are going to influence artistic appeal.
That's just my silly old opinion. What do the other Ted Mallory fans think?
