Pop goes the 60's

This past week painting students were assigned to research a pop artist and try to paint a work that would look like something that artist would have done. This upcoming week they give their reports to the class.

In honor of their hard work, I've added a menu of links to the pop artist's website over on the right side of this blog. (if you're reading this at multiply.com, you'll have to visit malloryart.blogspot.com). Several of them are still alive and working- a few even have their very own sites, not just Wikipedia entries. I may just have to post my own take on a few of these greats' works. Who knows, I may have to give a few of my students their 15 minutes of fame by posting the paintings they do. Peace Out!
